PHED 2110 — Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries II
Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries II covers the modern principles of athletic training for people involved in the health care of athletes. This course is designed to emphasize the anatomy, kinesiology, and care of knee and lower leg injuries. The course will also cover the study of shoulder, elbow, and hand injuries as they relate to sport and exercise. Continued practices of the principles and techniques used by a certified trainer in the prevention, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. This course is recommended for athletic training, sports medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, coaching, physical education, or recreation students.
