MECH 1170 — Fluid Power III
Fluid Power III provides students advanced fluid power theory and application for product specification and selection, design, service and fabrication. Studies the use of directional, flow and pressure control devices in circuits. Also provides students with the knowledge and understanding of the operation, function, and application of hydraulic pumps and actuators. Hydraulics lab examines basic equipment and fundamentals of hydraulic valves of fluid power. Focus will also cover various flow controls, pumps and motors. Students will tear down, plumb and operate the various components.
