ENGL 1130 — Introduction to Creative Writing
Introduction to Creative Writing reviews the skills and gives students the tools to write poems and stories. Students will analyze and evaluate published writing as well as the writing of their peers. The textbook and lectures will provide strategies for writing and editing poems and stories. The class is conducted in an informal, workshop atmosphere. Students will write a final narrative for publication in Minnesota West's creative journal.
