WMT117 — Crane and Rigging
The class covers basic safety principles related to Crane activities. The application and inspection of cable, chain, and synthetic lifting devices will be covered along with verbal and non-verbal signals involved in safe operations. Students will gain experience in reading load charts, identifying working parts of a crane, operation of overhead bridge cranes and learn how to inspect cranes prior to use.
