WELD 2240 — Properties of Welding 1
| Lecture The purpose of this course is to continue the students' understanding of the Shielded Metal Arc Welding processes as applied to pipe and stainless steel welding. It will also expand the students' knowledge in the metallurgy of carbon and stainless steels. In addition, this course will also cover the AWS Standards (AWS D1.1, D1.6, API 1104) pertaining to plate, pipe and stainless steel certification. Prerequisities: WELD 1221
