| Lecture/Lab The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the equipment and safety practices necessary to prepare metals satisfying joint design and joint testing requirements as described by the American Welding Society. The student will become familiar with the use of equipment in a safety focused environment. Welding terminology and typical job communications will be covered.
