WELD 1233 — Cutting and Gouging Processes

| Lab The purpose of this course is to develop skills in cutting and gouging materials utilizing the Oxy -Fuel Cutting (OFC), Plasma Arc Cutting (PAC), Carbon Arc Cutting-Air (CAC -A) processes established by the American Welding Society. The student will practice the oxy-fuel cutting, plasma arc cutting, and carbon arc cutting- air processes and related areas of the ANSI/AWS Z49.1 safety standard, on various materials in pre-determined positions.
