| Lecture The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to Thermal Cutting Processes and the related safety practices established by the American Welding Society. The student will become familiar with the process principles, capabilities, related areas of the ANSI/AWS Z49.1 safety standard, and equipment limitations of Oxy -Fuel Cutting (OFC), Plasma Arc Cutting (PAC), Carbon Arc Cutting -Air (CAC -A), and other various types of thermal cutting processes.
