WELD 1223 — Shielded Metal Arc Welding Low Hydrogen Skills
| Lab The purpose of this course is to develop skills in welding mild steel utilizing E7018 electrodes with the Shielded Metal Arc Welding process. The student will become familiar with associated SMAW principles, techniques, and the related areas of the ANSI/AWS Z49.1 safety standard, when applying E7018 according to AWS Structural Welding Code in a ll positions.
