WELD 1222 — Basic Shielded Metal Arc Welding Skills
| Lab The purpose of this course is to develop skills in welding mild steel utilizing E6010 electrodes with the Shielded Metal Arc Welding process. The student will become familiar with associated SMAW principles, techniques, and related areas of the ANSI/AWS Z49.1 safety standard, when applying E6010 according to AWS Structural Welding Code in all positions.
