VTCH 1215 — Introduction to Veterinary Technology
| Lecture This course is an introduction to the profession. Topics covered will include career options, veterinary legal considerations, the value of professional organizations, crisis intervention/grief management skills with clients, and the importance of continuing education. Safety in the workplace and the role of the veterinary technician in keeping livestock safe from exotic disease (biosecurity) are also covered. Acceptance into Vet Tech program.
