| Lecture Psychology of Sustainability is a course th at explores use of psychological insights, techniques, and research to understand and promote a healthy relationship between humans and the natural environment. This course serves as an introduction to addressing environmental problems using psychology, and to the psychological study of sustainable human behavior. In this course, we will use psychological principles, theories, concepts, and methods to examine the reciprocal relationship between human beings and the natural world. We will discuss the complex nature of environmental problems and explore the psychological and social underpinnings of a range of sustainable and non- sustainable behaviors.
