| Lecture/Lab This course will develop the student's basic understanding of various health conditions, physiologic functions, developmental considerations, societal and nursing care needs of clients. This course emphasizes the following: disea se processes, diagnostic tests, pharmacology, medical/surgical treatments, nursing interventions, nutritional considerations and emotional needs. This includes specific adult and geriatric concepts and information. The body systems included are integumenta ry, musculoskeletal, diabetes, neuro/sensory and male reproductive and genitourinary systems.
