POE 1520 — Criminal Law / Mn Statutes / Traffic Law

| Lecture Students will be provided with an introduction to criminal law, including the classification and analysis of crimes and criminal acts with an emphasis on the Minnesota Criminal code and the study of criminal law as a mean s of preserving and protecting life and property. Students will also be introduced to Minnesota traffic law, specifically required by the Minnesota Board of Peace Officer Standards and Training. (Student can earn credit in only one course, either CRJS 2213 or POE/LAW 1520.)
