| Lecture/Lab This course outlines the knowledge, skills, techniques and instructional methods related to safe, educationally effective, and environmentally sustainable travel in the backcountry. The emphasis is placed on skills and educational delivery methods suited to winter season activities including skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, and winter camping. This course includes a field component. Prerequisities:
