OUTL 1210 — Backpack Expedition
| Lecture/Lab This course familiarizes students with beginner to intermediate backpacking techniques and wilderness camping. Safety, trip planning, navigation, equipment selection, food preparation, Leave No Trace camping techniques, and group dynamics will be covered. This course meets a few times at the beginning of the semester and is taught in the field on an extended wilderness trip.
