NURS 2050 — Care of Women and Children
| Lecture/Lab Care of Women and Children presents principles and concepts of maternal child nursing. Focuses include care of women of childbearing age, neonatal nursing, pediatric topics, and women's healthcare. Emphasis is placed on recognizing the interrelat ionship between stressors and the nursing process as a means of planning and providing wholistic client care. Students demonstrate clinical competence while applying theory to practice in a variety of clinical settings. Prerequisities: NURS 1350, NURS 1750
