| Lecture/Lab Forensic Science is the application of basic principles and laboratory methods in chemistry, biology, and physics, to solving problems related to criminal justice and civil issues. This course emphasizes the scientific basis behind forensic applications such as identification of unknown substances, blood type and DNA comparisons, analysis of trace evidence, and environmental forensics, as well as crime scene analysis and proper collection of evidence.
