NRT 1223 — Fire Training and Mechanical Skills 3
| Lab Fire Training and Mechanical Skills 3 is the Portable Pumps and Water Use component in a series of skills courses. Students will complete S- 211 Portable Pumps and Water Use, covering three areas of skill: supply, delivery, and application of water. Students will demonstrate their knowledge of correct water use, basic hydraulics, and equipment care. The fie ld exercise requires set up, operation, and maintenance of pump equipment. The State of Minnesota Online Boat Safety Certificate is required as a supplemental mechanical skill in aspects of navigation and travel to incidents. Prerequisities: NRT 1222, WILD 1271
