HIST 1211 — American History, to 1877
| Lecture Students will study the development of American political, social, and economic institutions and practices. This course surveys the period of American development from pre- European arrival through Reconstruction. Topics include Native American cultures, Eu ropean colonization, the American Revolution, the early national period, the War of 1812, the Civil War, Reconstruction, and American presidents and their respective policies.
