FORT 1212 — Forest Inventory
| Lecture/Lab This course is designed to provide an understanding of forest vegetation, its volume, growth, quality, and site conditions. Proper use of instruments and inventory techniques is emphasized. Calculations and summary of data using elementary st atistics, including working with spreadsheets, is an integral part of this course. Development of a stand level inventory provides students with the ability to estimate forest volume and interpret the results to understand the basics of forest growth. Prerequisities: FORT 1205
