EMTP 1120 — Paramedicine 1
| Lecture At the completion of this course, the paramedicine student will understand the roles and responsibilities of a paramedic within an EMS system, apply the basic concepts of development, path physiology and pharmacology to assess ment and management of emergency patients, and communicate effectively with patients. Additionally the paramedicine student will be able to take proper history and perform comprehensive physical exam on any patient, communicate the findings to others, inte grate path physiological principles and assessment findings to formulate a field impression and understand how to implement the treatment plan for the trauma patient and safely manage the scene of an emergency.
