| Lecture Emergency Medical Responder Refresher courses are designed to update and refresh volunteers and professionals to deal with trauma and medical emergencies. Emphasis includes assessing the scene and preventing further harm, assessing patients, following protocols for equipment use, and working within the established EMS system t o access medical care.
