ECM 1275 — Introduction to Process Control

| Lecture/Lab The course is a "hybrid" or "blended" course with the majority of the learning environment traditional in - class lectures and hands -on lab work which also includes Web -based learning activities to complement face- to-face work. This course is an introduction to industrial process control. The course will cover basic definitions, types of control, symbols and prints, instruments used in control, and elementary control loop design. The course will identify the duties and tasks performed by instrumentation technicians. Prerequisities: ECM 1244, ECM 1264
