ECED 2414 — Infant and Toddler Strategies
| Lecture This course provides a framework for building on participant's knowledge and skills in the area of early childhood special education. The content will focus specifically on infant/toddler development and how to work effectively with children who have disabilities or are at risk for disabilities. Parent -professional partnerships, interagency and interdisciplinary planning as well as the development of a comprehensive individual family service plan will be addressed. Students will make connections between content knowledge and practice through a 16 -hour field experience.
