ECED 2132 — Special Needs in Early Childhood
| Lecture This course introduces students to 13 categories of disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Attention is given to how teachers can support children and integrate a variety of strategies, accommodations, and adaptations utilizing Universal Design for Learning to provide meaningful, challenging learning opportunities in an inclusive classroom environment, Students will make connections between content knowledge and practice through a 16-hour field experience.
