| Lecture/Lab This course is a study of the chemistry of carbon compounds emphasizing the theories and mechanisms which account for their physical and chemical properties. Techniques of purifi cation, separation, and synthesis are practiced in the laboratory. Laboratory emphasizes observation, data collection and report writing.
