BIOL 1562 — General Biology of Organisms
| Lecture/Lab Intended as the second of a two-course sequence for biology majors. This course investigates foundational concepts of living organisms and biodiversity. This course emphasizes mechanisms of evolution, speciation, and comparative anatomy, physiology, and adaptations for different groups of organisms. Concepts of biomes, the roles of human activities, and their effects on the ecological balance of the ecosystem will also be emphasized. Prerequisities:
