BIOL 1466 — Black Bear Ecology

| Lecture This course covers the basic principles of black bear ecology, including lectures on life history, food habits, physiology, social behavior, current research and management. The role of bears in early cultures and bear species of the world will be addressed. This course includes discussions with bear management agencies, both government and non- government organizations. (Cross -listed course; students can enroll only in BIOL 1466 or NRT 1466.)
