BIOL 1255 — Dendrology and Plant Ecology
| Lecture/Lab This course is an introductory course in the structure and function of plants, which includes a heavy emphasis on field identification of major trees, shrubs and herbs of Minnesota. The major characteristics of commercial forest tree species are included as well. Field trips to local plant communities are used to illustrate various aspects of plant ecology.
