ALHE 1620 — Applied Medical Terminology
| Lecture This course introduces students to medical terminology, including word elements (roots, combining forms, prefixes, and suffixes), singular and plural forms and medical abbreviations. Emphasis will be on understanding definitions, correct spelling, proper usage and pronunciation of terms related to medical procedures, human anatomy and physiology, and pathophysiology.
