HLTH1005 — Introduction to Medical Terminology
The course introduces the building of medically rooted words, including prefixes and suffixes. A foundation is created for the continued development of medical and health vocabulary for students desiring programs in health-related fields. The student learns to spell, pronounce, define, analyze and formulate terminology related to body structure, disease process, diagnosis and treatment.
