COSM1204 — Salon Practicum Hair Technician
In this course, students work in a licensed school salon to meet requirements stipulated by the State Board of Cos - metology. The course includes instruction in applied science and skills in shampooing, scalp and hair conditioning, hair design and shaping, chemical hair control, hair coloring and hair styling. Each student is required to complete a specific minimum number of clinical exercises, as well as a minimum number of clinical hours, to fulfill requirements set by the State Board of Cosmetology.
