DENT 1250 — Dental Radiology

Understanding of the basic principles of x-ray production, processing, and image receptor placement. Knowledge of radiation protection in dentistry and basic interpretation of common dental diseases, such as caries and alveolar bone loss. This course certifies students to expose dental radiographs in the state of Nebraska. Prerequisites: DENT 1100 , DENT 1110 , DENT 1120 , and DENT 1130 . Fee $50.
