DENT 1230 — Prevention & Nutrition
Nutrition, dietary counseling, correlation between diet and dental health with emphasis on preventive dentistry. Basic pathology and coronal polishing are included in this course. Students who successfully complete the Prevention and Nutrition course along with other courses required for the dental assisting diploma, will receive certification to perform coronal polishing in the state of Nebraska. Prerequisites: DENT 1100 , DENT 1110 , DENT 1120 , and DENT 1130 . Fee $15.
