Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
At MTC, we offer a 200-hour course to train you to care for victims of sudden and serious illness in emergency situations. Students who successfully complete this course will be eligible to take the National Registry exam sponsored by SC DHEC. With just six months of training, EMTs, also known as First Responders, work in a variety of settings, including county emergency services departments, private ambulance, and transport companies, and hospitals.
