Building Construction Technology is designed to train the next generation of homebuilders, superintendents, job site personnel, building inspectors and contractors for the construction industry of South Carolina. Training is based on a set of detailed skills standards from the nation’s leaders in the construction industry. Students are encouraged to become a professional in the construction industry. Students will construct a 1664 square foot house from start to finish. This house is built on school grounds and is used as a life size training aid that encompasses all aspects of a construction project.
