Introduction to Hand Tools and Introduction to Power Tools introduces students to hand and power tools that are widely used in the construction industry. Introduction to Blueprints familiarizes students with basic blueprint terms, components and symbols. Basic Rigging explains how ropes, chains, hoists, loaders and cranes are used to move material and equipment from one location to another on a job site. Basic Communication Skills provides students with techniques for communicating effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Basic Employability Skills identifies the roles of individuals and companies in the construction industry.
