EMS 1222 - Prehospital Fundamental Concepts EMS 1222 - Prehospital Fundamental Concepts This course includes a comprehensive review of the knowledge base and skills for the prehospital provider. The lecture component expands previous knowledge of foundational principles of EMS to the level of the advanced clinician. This course also seeks to establish best-practice models in concepts such as documentation, research, and personal well-being. A laboratory experience is included in this course to provide a more robust learning experience in topics such as medical, legal, and ethical issues. Prerequisite: Instructor approved (2,1,2)
