VACA2080 — Surround Sound Mixing
4.5 Credits Students are introduced to the processes of recording, mixing, and formatting surround sound for video and music. Students become familiar with various surround formats and speaker set ups and complete a variety of video/music projects focusing on recording, mixing, and finalizing sound in the 5.1 surround field. All projects will be mixed in the 5.1 mix room, on the Pro Tools HD native system.
