SCET2250 — Advanced Surveying

5.5 Credits Students learn land surveying theory and practices using a theodolite, total station and GPS unit. Topics studied are survey traverse and determination of azimuths and bearings, as well as coordinate geometry and curve computations. Students also learn topographic mapping, construction staking, and GPS basics, concepts and applications. 5

Prerequisites: SCET1220, MATH1240, MATH1430
