RESP2100 — Advanced Respiratory Care
4.5 Credits This course covers advanced cardiopulmonary physiology and its application to the management of the patient in cardio-respiratory failure who requires mechanical ventilation. The course provides the student with demonstration and laboratory experiences with mechanical ventilator modes and setting adjustments, ventilator waveform analysis, ventilator troubleshooting, pulmonary function testing, and ECG testing. Note: This course must be completed with a C grade or better. Additional fees will be attached to this course for exam prep resources. 5
