MATH1410 — Statistics
4.5 Credits Students will develop a critical and functional understanding of data. Topics include frequency distributions; measures of central tendency and dispersion; probability and probability distributions; sampling concepts; estimating means, variances, standard deviations; proportions and percentages; hypothesis testing; and correlation and linear regression. Software and calculators will be used as appropriate throughout the course. 5
