4.5 Credits Students review, analyze, and apply the Rules of Civil Procedure used in federal and state court systems to case scenarios to determine jurisdiction, venue, pleadings, motions, discovery, pre-trial, trial, and post-trial procedures. Students learn to perform the basic work of a paralegal in litigation. Students conduct legal research, investigation, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other documents commonly used in litigation. 5
