LAWS1101 — Introduction to Law & the Legal Profession
4.5 Credits Students explore the field of law and history of law, how the various areas of law impact society, basic legal principles, legal terminology, the judicial system, legislation, criminal and civil law and procedure, juvenile law, alternative dispute resolution, and the elements of a trial. Recommended: ENGL 1010 or conferred bachelor’s degree
