INFO2810 — Security Capstone
4.5 Credits This course offers practical, hands-on experiences within scenario-based environments. Students will integrate and apply concepts and tools acquired in prior courses. The curriculum involves conducting risk analyses and threat assessments, culminating in the development of comprehensive security plans. Key components include auditing, monitoring, incident response, forensics, and penetration testing. Note: This capstone course, specifically designed for degree or career certificate seeking students in the Cybersecurity program at MCC, should be taken as the final program course. It synthesizes the concepts, processes, and practical experiences acquired throughout the preceding security courses. Additionally, current work experience may be evaluated to fulfill course requirements. 5
