INFO2101 — AI Agents for Problem Solving
4.5 Credits Students will explore the fundamental concepts of agentic (AI agent) systems and how to create these workflows while analyzing their outputs for reliability, accuracy, and ethical implications. Students will design workflows that guide AI agents to perform complex tasks and evaluate their performance using metrics such as accuracy, bias, task completion, and safety. Through hands-on projects, students will create functional AI agents that automate real-world processes, applying theoretical concepts to practical problems. By the end of the course, students will have developed a nuanced understanding of agentic systems and the skills to harness their power for positive impact.
