INFO1105 — IT Essentials PC Repair I
4.5 Credits This course emphasizes the functionality of hardware and software components as well as suggested best practices in maintenance and safety issues. Through hands-on activities, students learn how to assemble and configure a computer, install operating systems and software, and perform basic troubleshooting of hardware problems. This course aligns with and may students prepare for the CompTIA A+ certification exam. Note: Students should already have knowledge of basic computer literacy including working with a web browser, accessing information stored locally and on the cloud, and the use of common productivity software. This course must be completed with a grade of C or better. Recommended: INFO 1002 and INFO 1200
