HMSV1140 — Assessment, Case Planning, and Management
4.5 Credits Students learn the process of collecting pertinent data about client or client systems and their environment and appraising the data as a basis for making decisions regarding diagnosis, treatment, and/or referral of chemical dependency clients. Instruction on coordinating and prioritizing client treatment goals and working with other services, agencies, and resources to achieve those treatment goals is included. This course also includes practice in assessing and managing a case.
