HDIM1030 — Healthcare Data Management and Use
4.5 Credits Students learn the methods to access and retrieve healthcare data and medical records. These methods include master patient index, record identification and filing systems, record retention and disaster planning; electronic document management systems, health data registries, e.g., cancer registry; voice recognition, and management of medical transcription services including productivity, quality monitoring and budgeting. 5
